A: Yes, We have a PTFE which is approved for food applications

A: The spring energizer excercises a constant pressure both on the inside and the outside of the seal. It therefore seals well, compensates for wear, and provide an increased seal life in comparison to other seal types.

A: No, we produce all seals and springs to order. Most of our customers require special solutions and we would rather look at each individual application instead of supplying an off-the-shelf product.

A: No, but we can make a small prototype run based on your requirements for a minimal fee.

A: The earlier we are involved in the process the better a solution we can provide you with. We can assist you with cavity design, selection of housing material and of course with the seal design itself.

A: It depends on the media to be sealed and the presure, and whether it is a constant temperature or a periodic temperature. In general we have no problems up to 285 degrees celcius. We also provide seals for extremely cold temperatures, down to minus 160 degrees celcius.

A: The combination may sometimes be difficult. We can go up to 150 bar for our high speed rotating seals. The seal life is dependant on the surface material and the media to be sealed.

A: Yes, we have nearly 20 outside reps living and covering the US, Canada, Europe, Asia and the UK.

A: Yes. We have Customer Service, Inside Technical Sales Staff and Territory Managers who speak a wide variety of launguages including, Spanish, Chinese, French, Korean, German, Italian, Dutch and Russian.
