Protecting electronic systems and equipment from the harmful effects of electromagnetic interference, or EMI, has become more critical than ever. The superior electrical conductivity of our Canted Coil Springs, coupled with their ability to provide multi-point contact and compensate for surface irregularities, make them ideal for use as EMI shielding components.
These springs are available in a broad range of sizes, and can be designed to fit small packages - with wire dimensions from 0.0025" (0.064mm) and coil heights from 0.020" (0.51mm).
Typical applications for our EMI shielding springs include antenna bases, cables, electronics housings, aerospace, defense and automotive equipment.
